Shutdown PC Via Email

How to shutdown a computer via Email?

Requirement :

  1. Microsoft Outlook
  2. Internet Connection
Procedure :
  1. First open your Notepad.
  2. Type this code c:\windows\system32\shutdown -s -f -t 00
  3. Save it as shutdown.bat    [.bat is batch file extension]
  4. Now open Microsoft Outlook.
  5. Configure your Email Account.
  6. After configuration go to Tools -> Options.
  7. Now click on Mail Setup tab and afterward Send/Receive button.
  8. Click check box Schedule an automatic send/receive ...and set the numbers of minute to 1.
  9. Now go to Tools -> Rules and Alerts.
  10. Now click the Options button on the upper right hand side and click the Import Rules button.
  11. Now browse & select the shutdown.bat file that we have created earlier.
  12. Now, when you send a message from your phone or PC to your e-mail address with the subject shutdown your PC will shutdown.
                                                                     You are Done!
